Kobi Haimovich serves as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at SCRYPT Trading, a Swiss-based institutional digital asset trading firm operating in one of the most highly regulated and fast-evolving financial sectors. Over the past year, Kobi has led a fundamental transformation of SCRYPT’s security, risk, and compliance posture – positioning cybersecurity as a strategic business enabler rather than a cost center.

Under his leadership, SCRYPT implemented a unified, regulation-ready security operating model aligned with MiCA, FINMA, DORA, and SOC 2 expectations. This included building governance structures from the ground up, defining clear ownership across executive leadership, and embedding security controls directly into trading, custody, and technology workflows. Kobi introduced a risk-driven, intelligence-led security program that combines traditional defensive controls with proactive threat research, attack-surface monitoring, and continuous assurance. He championed the integration of DevSecOps practices across cloud and trading infrastructure, reducing time-to-remediation while increasing transparency for engineering and executive stakeholders.

He regularly translates complex cyber risks into clear business language, enabling informed decision-making at the highest levels of the organization.
