Maureen has been a Chief Operating Officer for a global managed security services provider, the Global Head of Cloud & Security Sales for an international telecommunications company, and is currently Chief Revenue Officer for SilverSky, an industry leading cybersecurity firm.
Maureen is also a fervent champion for women leaders and collaborated to create a Women in Technology (WIT) organization in July 2020 to create a community for women inside her company, OpenText, which like many tech companies lacked female diversity in many areas of the business. Within 18 months, WIT grew to more than 1100 employees with significant engagement across 5 continents. 750 people participated in a 5-part leadership development series, helping to map career paths for technical and non-technical people. The mentoring program grew from a few individuals to 45 pairs within 12 months. This brought together people with diverse backgrounds and cultures to drive awareness and change across the global company.
• Maureen shares her passion for leadership development by mentoring and coaching up-and-coming future leaders in the USA, Canada and UK. Maureen works with leaders across organizations to address systemic issues in our industry and network with other like-minded leaders.
• Managing career path journey projects across multiple countries, Maureen has taken on diverse topics and driven different conversations that have led to the creation of a female senior leadership team that speaks as one voice on corporate issues
• The scale of WIT and its impact on individuals across the community is unparalleled. Not only has she successfully engaged ¼ of an employee population in a grassroots effort, but she has also done so while leading the cybersecurity business unit.
