Overview
Monica is an innovator, entrepreneur, and veteran of the security industry with over 18 years of experience in SIEM and cloud security. After hundreds of conversations with organizations struggling to stay ahead of new emerging threats, Monica co-founded LogicHub in 2016 to help CISOs solve increasingly complex security challenges.
The winner of the prestigious Women In IT Awards for Security Champion of the Year, Monica is a frequent speaker at leading security conferences around the globe and has been featured in numerous trade publications for her tactical insights on security operations. She has a passion to help her customers succeed and is driven to always uncover, analyze, and act on critical data.
Monica worked at ArcSight for over 10 years, culminating in managing the flagship SIEM product portfolio. She saw the company grow from zero revenue to IPO, and it was ultimately acquired by HP for $1.5B. Monica is driven by a zeal for advancing cyber security from its current state of information overload.
In addition to ArcSight, Monica was previously the Director of Product Management at CipherCloud where she created and managed the Cloud Security Analytics product division. She has experience in creating new products at startups as well as managing mature product lines at large public companies.
Monica earned her Master of Computer Science degree as well as worked as a researcher at Stanford University and Carnegie Institute of Washington.
Accomplishments
• Monica began her career in security as a software engineer and never looked back. She has spent countless of hours sitting side by side with analysts in Security Operation Centers (SOCs), drawing on her technical expertise to solve their problems and build solutions. She is passionate about the helping her customers build the best security posture possible. Acutely aware that businesses can go down overnight from just one attack, Monica believes it is essential that organizations can accurately and efficiently capture, analyze, and act on critical data.
• Over the years, Monica’s passion and empathy for her customers has earned their trust and loyalty. The depth of these relationships is evidenced by LogicHub’s phenomenal customer retention rate of more than 95%. Some former clients have even joined her company!
• Monica strongly supports women in technology and is committed to giving back to her community. She gives presentations at schools to help educate and encourage young girls to enter STEM fields and supports Girls Who Code. Monica believes in the value of mentorship and counsels young women trying to take the next step in their tech careers and offers guidance to female founders. Despite pervasive gender inequality in the tech sector, at her own company Monica has helped build a workforce comprised of approximately 40% women.
