Overview
CSIOS Corporation (hereafter “CSIOS”), a Maryland based, Veteran–Owned Small Business is pleased to nominate its Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Cesar Pie for the Chief Executive Officer of the Year award. A veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a renowned executive and strategist in the field of Cyberspace Operations, the following is a summary of Mr. Pie’s key accomplishments during 2020:
• Contracts Wins. During 2020, Mr. Pie led CSIOS to secure more than $260M in contract wins supporting Federal customers that included Federal Cybersecurity Service Providers, Network Operation Centers, Security Operating Centers, and Cybersecurity Integrity Centers provisioning 24x7x365 cybersecurity services to protect and defend U.S. information systems and networks.
• Cyber Awards. Under Mr. Pie’s leadership, CSIOS’ cyber executives, strategists, offensive and defensive cyberspace operations teams, services, and solutions have all achieved recognition by national and international cyber award organizations. During 2020, CSIOS received 12 cyber awards for its innovations and contributions to secure the cyberspace domain and the global cyber community.
• Cyberspace Operations Services Certified Under Quadruple ISO® Standards and Cyberspace Operations Division Appraised Under Double CMMI®. During 2020, CSIOS attained full recertification of its cyberspace operations (defensive, offensive, and information network operations) and cybersecurity services under quadruple ISO® standards: (1) ISO® 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System); (2) ISO/IEC® 20000–1: 2011 (Information Technology Service Management System); (3) ISO® 22301: 2012 (Business Continuity Management System); and (4) ISO/IEC® 27001: 2013 (Information Security Management System). Further, CSIOS is also the ONLY Cyber Firm with a Cyberspace Operations Division appraised to operate under double Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) process improvement models: (1) CMMI® Development V2.0 (Maturity Level 3) and (2) CMMI® V2.0 Services (Maturity Level 3).
Accomplishments
• In 2020, Mr. Pie’s foresight for capturing business opportunities; ability to make decisions earlier, faster, and with conviction; as well as his proactive adaptability and reliability to deliver on commitments, steered CSIOS to capture more than $260M in contract wins to support multiple Federal Cybersecurity Service Providers, Network Operation Centers, Security Operating Centers, and Cybersecurity Integrity Centers provisioning 24x7x365 cybersecurity services. Mr. Pie's ongoing pursuit of excellence and higher standards of services to U.S. Federal customers; his ability to inspire; and his enthusiasm pursuing goals and instilling that same attitude in others, propelled CSIOS cyber executives, strategists, offensive and defensive cyberspace operations teams to challenge the status quo and foster multiple cyber innovations. His distinctive drive resulted in CSIOS’ realization of 12 cyber awards by national and international cyber award organizations.
• During 2020, Mr. Pie also maintained CSIOS’ position as a continuous improvement pioneer and the only cyber firm provider of full spectrum cyberspace operations (defensive, offensive, and information network operations) and cybersecurity services appraised and certified to operate under International Organization for Standardization (ISO)® 9001:2015; ISO/IEC® 20000–1: 2011; ISO® 22301: 2012; ISO/IEC® 27001: 2013, and a Cyberspace Operations Division appraised under Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI)® Development (maturity level 3) and CMMI® Services (maturity level 3).
• In summary, during 2020, the combination of $260M in contract wins, 12 cyber awards, quadruple ISO® standards, and double CMMI® appraisals provides unparalleled, clear and tangible ‘hard’ evidence of Mr. Pie's foresight and innate ability to communicate his vision, set direction, and inspire others to share and achieve common goals.
