Overview

Nima Baiati is the global executive leading Lenovo’s cybersecurity portfolio and solutions (i.e. ThinkShield). In his role he has P&L responsibility for Lenovo’s security solutions and services business as well as leading security innovation on platform security (i.e. below-OS) and AI Security.

In 2023 he established Lenovo’s first Cybersecurity Innovation Centre based in Israel. Prior to joining Lenovo, Nima led product management and corporate development for a leading security company where he successfully brought to market several new products to create new recurring-revenue opportunities as well as extensive work in corporate development. Nima also led the global go-to-market strategy organization for enterprise security at Symantec. He’s worked in several Silicon Valley start-ups in product and enterprise sales roles. Nima began his career in finance at Morgan Stanley. He is actively involved in advising numerous venture capital firms and start-ups both in Silicon Valley and in Israel. Nima earned his BSc. from the University of San Francisco and his MBA from Cornell University, where he was a Fellow of the S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.

He’s completed advanced coursework in AI Solutions and Services Development from MIT, Digital Transformation from Cambridge University and Corporate Finance from Harvard Business School. He holds numerous certifications ranging from Certified Ethical Hacker, CISM, AWS, CIPP/E-GDPR and Cloud Security. Most recently he is the recipient of the 2023 Fortress Cyber Security Award for Leadership and the 2023 SC Awards for Security Innovator of the Year.

Nima sits on the Board of Directors for the FIDO Alliance, serves as a member of the Eurbio opean Internet Forum as well as engagement with several philanthropic ventures.
