Secure Networks: Endace Packet Forensics Files provides a vehicle to share thought-leadership content with security and network management professionals who want real-world perspectives on, and different approaches to, challenges and trends in the cybersecurity industry.

For 25 years, Endace has been the trailblazer in innovative, always-on packet capture, and during its esteemed history, the company has built strong relationships with cybersecurity influencers, policy makers, industry experts, and leading security vendors.

When the pandemic surfaced in early 2020, Endace wanted to be able to support its customers and deliver regular content and insights into current security topics, threats, technologies and trends to an industry reeling from the network security challenges brought on by Covid restrictions.

Endace decided to gather and share best practices and thought-leadership content with the community via interviews with experts. Endace reached out to its Fusion Partners (including Cisco, Gigamon, Keysight Technologies, Palo Alto Networks, and many others), as well as reknowned industry experts, and Secure Networks: Endace Packet Forensics Files was born. The first episode aired with Darktrace’s Director of Cyber Intelligence on June 18, 2020.

Since then, the vidcast/podcast has grown from strength to strength in its 65 episodes, highlighting timely insights from cybersecurity luminaries, influencers, and policy makers — including Ron Ross (NIST), Matt Bromiley (SANS), Steve Fink (Secure Yeti), Jessica (Bair) Oppenheimer (Cisco), Caitlin Sarian (Cybersecurity Girl), Jack Chan (Fortinet), Gerald Combs (Wireshark founder), and many other industry authorities. Topics covered in recent episodes include next-gen SOCs, AI-threat protection, Zero-Trust, Hybrid Cloud security challenges, Industry standards and certification, and defending against nation-state cyber attacks.

The purpose of the program endures: to share the insights and experiences of industry professionals and thought leaders on issues, challenges and trends occurring in the cybersecurity space. Secure Networks: Endace Packet Forensics Files host Michael Morris says, “We are adamant that our program is not a commercial or infomercial on any product or technology — including Endace. Packet Forensics Files is a welcoming space where brilliant, renowned cybersecurity experts talk about challenges or events happening in the security space, and our audience can learn best practices and ways to address those issues from each guest’s perspective.”

Secure Networks: Endace Packet Forensics Files is available as both a podcast and a vidcast, which allows for two distinct audiences. Audience numbers continue to grow for the 25 – 40 minute programs, in both media forms.
