Overview

Senthil Ramakrishnan serves as Assistant Vice President Cybersecurity Technology for AT&T Product and Platforms Organization. In this role, he leads the Product Management and Development team that is responsible for setting the security strategy for the AT&T Product and Platform organization, executing on the strategy by developing the next generation of network security products for AT&T. Previously, he was AVP – Product Management in AT&T’s Cybersecurity and Edge Solutions organization. In this role, he led the Managed Network Security Services team and was responsible for all business aspects, from defining the strategy and developing the product portfolio to business development and sales enablement to deliver revenue performance and profitability.

Senthil has been with AT&T for the past 10 years and previously was part of AT&T’s IoT organization leading the Network and Platform team. In that role, he was responsible for driving the security strategy and product portfolio for IoT customers.

He joined AT&T in 2012 from Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT) where he was a Senior Hardware Engineer working on the Snapdragon chipsets.

Senthil earned his undergraduate degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in India and his Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ohio State University. He is a multiple patent holder focused on security and IoT and has spoken at several world-renowned industry events such as Mobile World Congress, RSA Conferences, Gartner IT Symposium, and SXSW.

He lead the strategy for and development of AT&T Dynamic Defense – a ground-breaking innovative product offering a robust shield against cyber threats, enabling AT&T’s customers to do more than they ever could before, by detecting and blocking threats in real-time, before they reach a customer’s network. AT&T Dynamic Defense is the first-and-only network with built-in security controls. This offer is a game changer in the industry and sets new standards of networking with reliability, security and expertise to protect businesses.


• Senthil is an industry expert on security, networking and IoT and has been granted numerous patents which include: secure identity and certificate management for V2X and autonomous vehicles; Zero trust framework for IoT devices; Securing low powered mobile devices using ML driven network behavior analysis; Network-based security architecture for robotic surgery; Automated network-based selection of AWS IoT hubs; and Mobility SIM identity extension for application layer identity to name a few.
