Simon Monahan is Product Marketing Director at Redscan, where he is responsible for helping to position the company’s cyber security services, drive go-to-market execution, and oversee content creation.
During his time with Redscan, Simon has to helped to establish Redscan as a well-known provider within the Managed Detection and Response market, supported a significant increase in lead generation, worked on several successful PR campaigns, and helped to release CyberOps – Redscan’s threat management platform.
Simon has been working in Marketing for over 15 years, with experience across cyber security, telecommunications and software industries. He was promoted to his current role at Redscan in November 2019.
Accomplishments
•GTM strategy
Simon has played a key role in helping to develop and articulate Redscan’s value proposition in order to position the company in the marketplace and differentiate its services.
•Lead generation
Working alongside his colleagues, Simon has helped Redscan to meet its 2019 lead target. To achieve this, the team has worked hard to generate a 100% increase in web traffic and exhibited at industry events.
•PR
Simon has helped to support numerous successful PR campaigns in 2019, including successful freedom of information investigations into breach reporting and cyber security skills shortages. Coverage of Redscan’s ‘Cyber Security in Search’ report is one of Infosecurity Magazine’s top 10 most read stories of 2019.
