Overview

Trevor Horwitz has over twenty years’ experience in cybersecurity and compliance. Trevor is the CISO of TrustNet, an Atlanta, Georgia based provider of on-demand cybersecurity and compliance solutions. His clients include public and private clients of all sizes across numerous industries in the US, Europe, Asia, Africa, and Australia. Prior to TrustNet Trevor was the CEO of Reflex Security, a pioneer in network intrusion prevention and virtualization security. He gained extensive cybersecurity and compliance experience at PWC in Atlanta, Georgia and at Fisher Hoffman Stride in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Trevor is a trailblazer in expanding cybersecurity awareness. He is the driving force for InfraGard Atlanta’s webinar series that has attracted thousands of participants across the United States. Each webinar features a panel of leading experts discussing cybersecurity trends and provides actionable information that cybersecurity professionals can use every day. This ongoing series of webinars provides non-biased and non-commercial content for free.

Trevor is a PCI Qualified Security Assessor (QSA). As a member of the Payment Card Industry Security Council’s Special Interest Group Trevor plays an active role in defining PCI Data Security Standards for both virtualization and cloud security. Trevor is the 2016 President of InfraGard Atlanta, and a past Executive Board member of ISACA Atlanta. He is a frequent guest speaker at industry and professional events including RSA Conference, Global CISO Forum, InfraGard A-LIST, Software Process Improvement Network, Emory University Goizueta Business School, ISACA, and numerous industry webinars hosted by InfraGard, VMWare, Nexidia, Sipera, and Cisco. Trevor holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa with a triple major in Information Systems, Accounting, and Business Law.
