Overview

Ann is a Senior Information Assurance Analyst for ShorePoint, Inc., serving as a Subject Matter Expert to multiple clients where she provides advice and counsel to senior executives with strategy, implementation, compliance and reporting requirements for enterprise security programs. She ensures collaborative, prioritized, and streamlined compliance with federal mandates, national policy, best practices and performance measurement. Ann coordinates/facilitates execution of strategic initiatives and has a proven record of effectively interacting with leadership, management, operational and technical staff.

Over the past year, Ann has demonstrated leadership in driving stakeholder engagement and strategic actions on evolving guidance and White House Administration priorities through participation on progressive and ambitious enterprise cybersecurity programs in the public sector. Ann’s strategic role across these programs has her operating and providing strategic insights at the fulcrum of cyber modernization initiatives across government – with relevance to federal, state, local, and all 16 critical infrastructure sectors. Ann has directly contributed to guidance, insights, and strategies related to evolving metrics that should be considered in future iterations of FISMA, methods to measure and ensure adoption of Zero Trust as an administration priority codified in EO 14028, and achieved the latest industry standard certifications such as the Forrester Zero Trust certification.

Ann has consistently gone above and beyond both for the company and for her clients. She is routinely sought after for her cybersecurity thought leadership and input into challenging issues of the day. Ann identifies cyber governance guidance and mapping to mandates from a range of sources including National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications (SP) 800-53, 800-37 Risk Management Framework, Cybersecurity Framework, NICE Cybersecurity Workforce Framework, Cyber Executive Orders, relevant OMB Circulars and Memoranda. She remains on top of the newest guidance, as reflected in her Forrester Zero Trust certification achieved in December.
