Overview

For over 35 years, BlackBerry has been managing and securing endpoints across mobile, IoT and automobiles. We are synonymous with security, privacy and trustworthiness. There is a reason governments and businesses globally chose BlackBerry devices and now they trust and believe in the security products we create today.
BlackBerry now provides organizations with software to secure the IoT devices they use, the products they make, the data they share and their communications. We are constantly developing new products and technologies to better serve our customers. We are leading the way with a single solution for securing, managing and optimizing how intelligent endpoints are deployed in the enterprise, enabling our customers to stay ahead of the technology curve that will reshape every industry.
Our mission in 2020 is to be the world’s leading provider of end-to-end mobility solutions that are the most secure and trusted. That is a big mission, but it is one we believe in and work towards every day.
The Internet of Things represents the next great wave in business transformation. Today, BlackBerry already secures more than 500M endpoints including 175M cars on the road. Through independent research, Frost & Sullivan determined that BlackBerry is well positioned to secure all IoT endpoints, and upwards of 96% of all cyberthreats in the current landscape.
BlackBerry launched BlackBerry Spark® Suites in May this year, offering enterprises a range of tailored cybersecurity and endpoint management options to help protect data, minimize risk, and reduce cost and complexity.
BlackBerry Spark Suites combine the best endpoint security and management capabilities. The suites are powered by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML) and automation for improved cyber threat prevention and remediation from BlackBerry Cylance, plus seamless endpoint management, user authentication, secure productivity applications and data encryption from BlackBerry UEM. The new suites improve user productivity and layered security defenses, while simplifying purchasing decisions for enterprise customers undergoing digital transformation and shifting to remote work.

How we are different

• End-to-end security. Nobody has our encrypted network, the Network Operating Center (NOC), which is the backbone of BlackBerry. Additionally, our Zero-Trust architecture uniquely combines an intelligent security architecture with a user experience that requires little to no support from end users or IT admins; a fully frictionless experience with no interruptions – what we like to call the Zero-Touch approach.
• Endpoint experience. Our software is in over 500 million endpoints today, including automobiles, mobile devices, PCs, servers and IoT endpoints. Being on so many connected endpoints means we really understand how to both connect and protect these endpoints.
• AI – focused. BlackBerry trains our AI models against data lakes containing billions of files, good and bad, so that it learns to autonomously convict, or not convict files, pre-execution. The result of this massive, ongoing training effort is a proven track record of blocking payloads attempting to exploit zero-day threats for up to two years into the future – unprecedented in the industry.
