The company continually invests in research and development to improve internal operations and deliver innovative customer-facing products and services. The company set up a dedicated data science team to spearhead research and development in AI, ML, Blockchain and deep learning. The team has created an in-house AI platform that can be applied to numerous innovation opportunities around the enterprise.
“AI Visual Security” was one such project developed in 2022 that bought a major new paradigm shift to malware mitigation, with demonstrably more effective detection and reduction of security risks. CPC’s breakthrough approach fully reengineers the security workflow and user experience, offering sophisticated multi-dimensional security data analysis to customers, as opposed to traditional security service providers able to merely collect security incident logs and correlate them into standardized reports. This obsolete approach cannot truly uncover the full picture of a customer’s actual risk level. CPC has built up its AI modeling platform and extensive security experience across differing industry scenarios for regional or special customers (including various CITIC Group subsidiaries) to further pinpoint security risks, then providing preventive measures and recommendations to enhance their overall enterprise security posture and protection.

Data algorithm Capabilities
CPC established its Data Science Innovation team four years ago with strong algorithm modelling capabilities, deep learning and AI analysis. In 2021, the team developed an innovative AI approach in cybersecurity detection using data algorithms and won championship against 724 competitors in the CCF Big Data & Computing Intelligence Contest (CCF BDCI). The contest is one of the most influential activities in big data and AI, and the most prestigious big data integrated competition in China. That long-term commitment to research and development equips the company with deep expertise and numerous reusable solutions and solution components.
