Overview

When Cyber criminals target people from all walks of life with advanced technologies like AI, why should a cybersecurity conference cater only to IT personnels? Cybertron 2023 is an Experiential, Immersive Cybersecurity Conference for ALL. Cybertron 2023 was Malaysia’s 1st experiential and immersive cybersecurity conference for all digital device users and we created a National record on 6th September 2023 in Kuala Lumpur with more than 1000+ physical attendees.

Through Cybertron 2023 conference, our aim was to provide participants from various industries and companies, including private, public, and SMEs, with an opportunity to experience simulated cyber-attacks in a controlled environment and to create stronger awareness and appreciation for cyber security readiness.

To deliver the experiential learning, we ran three main arenas and two streams of conference tracks:

Arena 1: Cyber Attack Experience Center
Immersive learning on Latest attack trends with actual Mobile devices exposed to around 15+ different attacks live with details on how to defend for the attendees. Every delegate was provided with a mobile device to experience the attack in this arena. No technical knowledge was required and everyone had a blast with the hacking implants and attack methods!

Arena 2: Security Operations Centre
Security Operations Centre’s have become an integral part of the cyber defence ecosystem, lot of companies have never seen how the soc operation works and how the attacks are picked up and responded. This arena brought the entire workings of SOC in front of the eyes of the attendees and they joined in the role play as an attacker or a defender.

Arena 3: Hacker Corner
Hacker corner was a platform for security professionals / hackers to share their skill set with LIVE attacks and witness never-before-seen defense-evading attacks executed live by seasoned professionals. Discover the vulnerabilities in IT infrastructure and fortify defenses against future threats.
