About the Best Cybersecurity Education Provider category
Who this award is for
This award is for an organization that teaches cybersecurity to students, working professionals or people starting a security career. Training companies, academies, universities and colleges, bootcamps and certification bodies can all enter. A university or college can enter for its cybersecurity school, department or program.
The award is for the organization and everything it teaches. A single course, practice lab or training platform can be entered as a product in Cybersecurity Training or Security Education. One teacher can enter Cybersecurity Educator of the Year, and a group of instructors can enter Cybersecurity Instructor Team of the Year.
Related categories to enter
Each category is judged separately, so you can enter an organization in every category that fits, with a separate nomination for each. Tailor each nomination to that category's focus. Entering several related categories gives the organization more than one chance to be recognized.
How entries are judged
An independent jury of security practitioners, analysts and CISOs scores each nomination on leadership, innovation and impact. Each nomination competes in its category against organizations of similar size and region. Your entry package, any sponsorship and public votes do not affect the jury's scores.
Strong entries in this category show:
- Leadership — the organization's reach and reputation: learners taught, programs offered, accreditation held, employers that hire its learners or send staff for training.
- Innovation — what the organization does differently in its teaching, such as hands-on labs, courses updated as threats change, or new ways into security careers for people without a technical background.
- Impact — what learners achieved: courses completed, certifications earned, jobs gained, employer feedback. Give figures for learners and for the results you track.
The jury awards Gold, Silver or Bronze, or a Finalist badge, and results are published on this site and announced to the 600,000+ member Cybersecurity Insiders community. Every approved nomination also enters the separate Community Choice award, decided by public votes.
How to enter
An organization can nominate itself, or someone else can nominate it, for example a PR or marketing agency entering a client. The nomination form has a confidential field for detail that is shared with the judges and not published, such as revenue figures, enrollment figures or customer names. Deadlines, pricing and entry steps are on the How it Works page.
