NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS
I am an AI researcher and IEEE Senior Member dedicated to protecting the AI systems financial institutions rely on to detect fraud. While most applications focus on using AI to catch fraud, my research ensures the underlying defensive models cannot be manipulated or deceived by attackers. My work tackles two critical threats, safeguarding Large Language Models against data poisoning and prompt injection through multi-layered defensive architectures, and protecting behavioral biometrics, such as typing and mouse dynamics, against generative AI tools designed to spoof human activity. In 2026 alone, I authored five peer-reviewed IEEE conference papers on defensive LLMs and cloud-native risk architectures using AWS Bedrock, filed a patent on behavioral anti-spoofing, published an industry analysis in Biometric Update, and received the AI in Finance & FinTech Innovation Award at DASGRI 2026. Backed by over 10 + yeras of hands-on data engineering and machine learning experience, I combine original research with practical implementation to ensure that defensive AI never becomes a financial institution’s weakest link.
