How we are different
The Fortinet Security Awareness and Training service deserves the 2023 Cybersecurity Excellence Award for Security Awareness Program based on three reasons.
• The Fortinet Security Awareness and Training service was launched in April of 2022 to provide a comprehensive security awareness training solution to help organizations change employee behavior. The service was designed in line with NIST 800-50 and NIST 800-16 guidelines related to the creation of SAT programs, and addresses a range of security and privacy topics.
• The service provides organizations with a very easy-to-use and comprehensive solution that includes a learning portal, awareness content, an intuitive admin console that allows even novice administrators to create and run awareness campaigns in just a few minutes, and a library of digital assets that can be used as physical (posters, etc.) and digital (screensavers, etc.) reinforcement tools of the importance of vigilance when it comes to cyberthreats. As a cybersecurity company, the content is high quality, impactful and incorporates insights from Fortinet’s FortiGuard Labs threat research team. The service is available in English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish with more language rollouts planned in 2023.
• In addition to its premium offering, Fortinet, through the Fortinet Training Institute has made the service completely free for any organization with 25 or fewer employees. Also, as part of a White House initiative, Fortinet made the service free to all U.S.-based school districts. This is to help districts enable awareness programs across district employees including faculty. To date, this program has been a huge success with 110 school districts actively engaged with Fortinet and in one stage or another of implementing the solution across their workforces.
