The Fortis Cybersecurity Team focuses on the technology success and protection of its clients by employing more than 250 skilled professionals who have industry-leading vendor and security certifications. The Fortis team leverages critical IT assets to help its clients reduce risk, educate workers, remove vulnerabilities, protect systems and data, detect and respond to anomalous activities, and recover businesses when necessary. The goal is to provide end-to-end protection, with departments dedicated to:
• Advisory and Consulting (A group that performs security assessments, security workshops, penetration testing, proactive policies and posture hardening activities)
• Detection and Incident Response (SOC professionals using Fortis ActiveDefense XDR monitoring 24x7x365 to help spot and stop attacks fast)
• Managed Security Services (Maximizes uptime, updates, and patching for clients’ security environment, with additional 24x7x365 NOC monitoring to detect functionality issues)
• Project Services Protection Deployment (Skilled engineers ensure all ordered security solutions and/or services are deployed properly to optimize protection)
• Customer Success Managers (Service professionals focused on ensuring clients get the most from their Fortis experience, with regular cadence meetings to address issues and maintain satisfaction)
• ActiveRecovery (Certified professionals from all areas that jump in immediately post security incident to assist clients with their recovery efforts)

Accomplishments

• In the first nine months of 2021, the Fortis Cybersecurity Team analyzed more than 12 million security events, stopped more than 6,000 actionable attacks, and had an average response time of 8.5 minutes. To date, every single Fortis client that has been the victim of a cyber attack has made a full recovery with the help of the Fortis Cybersecurity Team.
• The Fortis Cybersecurity Team is comprised of 250+ highly skilled professionals, who together maintain more than 50 company certifications and over 2,400 individual certifications. This ensures Fortis can work with a wide variety of clients across all types of industries no matter what other vendors or security products they use. The Fortis team is highly adaptable, and assigns staff to projects based on those best equipped to handle each task.
• The Fortis Cybersecurity team works to protect clients in three different ways: Counteractive, Active, and Reactive. Counteractive offerings include areas such as security assessments, workshops, tabletop exercises, penetration testing, recovery plan development, and cyber insurance consulting. Active offerings include threat containment, risk reduction, security monitoring, compliance and governance, as well as security awareness training. Reactive offerings include incident response, recovery assistance, and forensic services.
