Overview

CEO James Hadley founded Immersive Labs in 2017 after teaching at GCHQ’s cyber school. He envisioned a more effective, data-backed approach to assessing, building, and proving cyber capabilities than traditional cyber training and certifications, which fail to keep up with the speed of cyber. Over the last five years, Immersive Labs has emerged as the global leader in people-centric cyber resilience, helping the world’s largest organizations and government agencies continuously upskill teams and individuals using real-life cyber simulations and labs. As cyber resilience has become an urgent priority for senior leaders across the world, the company’s platform helps teams and individuals across the organization identify and fill cyber skills gaps and demonstrate their cyber readiness to Boards and C-level leaders. Immersive Labs secured a Series C+ round in October 2022 to accelerate the company’s growth.

How we are different

1.) Immersive Labs helps organizations evaluate individual and team capabilities and decision-making against the latest threats. Immersive Labs has pioneered a new approach to people-centric cyber security with its Cyber Workforce Resilience platform that allows organizations to build team and individual cyber capabilities through real-life simulations and labs, helping leadership measure their preparedness against emerging cyber threats. Organizations can now prove their cyber resilience by measuring their readiness compared to industry benchmarks, building team capabilities, and demonstrating risk reduction and compliance with data-backed evidence.

2.) The company's Cyber Workforce Resilience platform offers three main solutions: organizational exercises (engaging attack scenarios for executive decision-makers), technical exercises (realistic technical simulations to collaboratively exercise capabilities), and hands-on labs (hands-on technical training for multiple audiences). The result? Comprehensive reports that prove capability including MITRE coverage, organizational capability matrices, benchmarking against others in their industry, crisis simulation scores, risk reporting, and technical performance.

3.) Not only is Immersive Labs supporting cybersecurity teams across the globe with effective solutions to prepare their workforce, but the company provides significant breadth and depth of content, offering over 1,900 hands-on challenges for beginners through the most advanced cybersecurity professionals. Topics such as threat hunting, reverse engineering and secure coding are just a few courses offered by the platform. This is why Immersive Labs is trusted by the world’s largest organizations and governments, including Citi, Pfizer, Daimler, Humana, HSBC, the UK Ministry of Defence, and the UK National Health Service, as well as backed by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, Ten Eleven Ventures, Summit Partners, Insight Partners, Citi Ventures, and Menlo Ventures.
