Overview

Leigh Dow’s current role is Vice President, Global Marketing at Identiv where she works across the global business units to identify growth and customer acquisition opportunities, and manages the strategy, planning and development of Identiv’s global marketing initiatives. Since being appointed to her role in November of 2020, Leigh has been instrumental in transforming the Identiv marketing team from a traditional marketing communications department to a performance marketing center of excellence. 2022 definitely showcased the value of that transition as the team produced highly impressive results.
Based on Leigh’s vision, year-over-year results for the team included significant improvements in brand awareness, customer engagement and sales pipeline growth. Since proving the value of marketing, and making informed decisions about our investments and how the company prioritizes marketing activity is paramount, Leigh also adopted tools to demonstrate the value her team was adding. In 2022 the team implemented both a chatbot and advertising technology platform to better respond and track customer inquiries and track advertising value. Additionally, the team reached multiple milestones this year, launching the Humans in Tech podcast in March of 2022 – producing 44 podcast episodes, and establishing a stronger industry news presence with 36 press releases.
Leigh increased her thought leadership profile significantly in 2022 by joining DoseID as Marketing Chair and the NFC Forum as IoT Working Group Secretary. She was also honored for her work as a marketing thought leader by being selected to the Fast Company Executive Board and is a regular contributor to Fast Company.
Mentoring is a passion of Leigh’s. She is a member of the Security Industry Association (SIA) Women in Security Forum that supports the participation of women in the industry through various programs and is one of their TIME (Talent Inclusion Mentorship Education) mentors.

 

Accomplishments

Leigh spearheaded massive year-over-year growth in Identiv’s web presence, increasing visitors by 37.5% and active sessions by 21%. In 2022, Identiv had over 777,000 web sessions with users.


Leigh drove the Marketing team to generate over 10,600 marketing qualified leads, an increase of 33.9% year-over-year. The team also influenced over $223m in the sales pipeline, yielding $83m in won revenue.


Identiv’s marketing technology stack was dramatically improved by implementing a new Advertising Platform: Rollworks, implementing a new conversational marketing chatbot: Qualified, Adopting a Gifting Platform for both sales and employee awards: Sendoso, and launching a brand new website with an elevated look and feel, combined with greater usability.
