Leonid Belkind is a co-founder and Chief Technology Officer at Torq, a no-code security automation platform. Leonid brings over 20 years of enterprise security experience to his role, where he’s worked on everything from software development to product and project management, to overseeing various organizational software engineering units.
In 2022, he was instrumental in helping Torq deliver on the promise of Parallel Execution, achieve 800% revenue and 10x customer growth, and why dozens of customers, including some of the world’s largest Fortune 100 companies, use Torq to perform over 1 million daily security automation.
Prior to Torq, Leonid managed engineering organizations at CheckPoint Software Technologies that delivered enterprise firewalls and other network, endpoint, and data security products. He also co-founded (and was CTO of) Luminate Security, where he guided this enterprise-grade pioneer in Zero Trust Network Access and Secure Access Services Edge from inception to Fortune 500 adoption to acquisition by Symantec.
Leonid is also a sought-after speaker at global technology events such as GDS Group’s Security Digital Summit and Forbes Technology Council member who has published articles in CEOWorld Magazine, DevPro Journal, Security Boulevard, and VMBlog on security automation trends and challenges.
