Accomplishments

1. In 2019/2020, Intelligent Waves (IW) was awarded a prime Cybersecurity contract supporting the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN) in a contested cyber battlespace with global adversaries posing constant threats to national security through intrusion, data exfiltration, and denial of service attacks.

An example of CISO Stern’s impact on our nation’s cybersecurity can be found at DISA. His company currently provides unclassified and classified mobile devices composed of secure networking and gateway infrastructure that deliver and extend enterprise services (such as email, voice, and video) to mobile devices. Stern is leading IW’s engineers to provide the next generation of mobile communications.

Stern has partnered with DISA and disparate DoD organizations and Commands to provide the DoD with a highly secure virtual smartphone solution that lets users perform business tasks on Government Furnished/approved mobile devices while leaving zero-footprint, guaranteeing 100% separation of personal and corporate data.

2. Solving Secure Communications to Empower Government Teleworkers to Work Remotely

Stern is a leading cyber thought leader in the DISA ecosystem to provide the DoD workforce with secure access to enterprise services anywhere, anytime, to support greater mission effectiveness. As CISO of IW, Stern should be recognized for his pragmatic vision that helped address multiple cybersecurity obstacles that the Government faces.

Matt played a pivotal role in empowering Homeland Security & DISA to optimize Dev/Sec/Ops to accelerate highly-secure Virtual Mobility Solutions deployment. IW is incorporating a new Agile Product solution with Dev/Sec/Ops practices to increase the quality, deploy, and rapidly release capability for the Hypori platform implementation to meet DoD enterprise-level requirements.

3. Stern is a cybersecurity warrior who focuses on defending our national security cyberspace against global adversaries through a Next-Generation Cybersecurity Operational Readiness Platform that empowers sophisticated real-time situational awareness Command-Control for DoD.
