Overview
My Lowe has written a book, Safe Computing on Safe Sex, available on Amazon, to help home users secure their computers. He recommends a mix of best practices and applications and uses language easily understood by laypeople.
In addition, Mr Lowe has appeared on dozens of internet radio shows and podcasts in the past few months discussing the dangers of the internet and providing solutions to common home user security issues.
Finally, KnowB4 has engaged the services of Mr Lowe to update their book Cyberheist and to write a monthly column on how office users can compromise corporate networks through ignorance or maliciousness.
Within the coming months, he plans to produce a weekly video series providing free tips for individuals and corporations to maintain secure systems and computing resources.
Before taking on the effort of educating people on computer security, Mr Lowe was the Director of Technical Services and Computer Operations for Trader Joe’s. In this role, which he held for 20 years, he was in charge of PCI compliance for the infrastructure, desktop and server security, and the building out of the disaster recovery hot site.
Accomplishments
