Overview

Mr. Ysrael Gurt is a well-known ethical hacker with extensive experience in product development and complex problem-solving. Ysrael was ranked number 22 in Google’s Hall of Fame and his “résumé” includes revealing attacks on Facebook, Microsoft and more. In 2018 Ysrael was included in Forbes’ “30 under 30” for his unique hacking abilities and cybersecurity skills. Currently, Ysrael is the CTO and co-founder of Reflectiz, a cyber-security company that provides a next-generation security solution for websites against third-party risks.

Accomplishments

-Ysrael discovered a critical security issue on the popular e-commerce platform, Shopify. Due to unsupervised subdomains, millions of Shopify usernames and passwords could be potentially compromised.

-Ysrael developed a new JavaScript Deobfuscator tool to quickly uncover Magecart malware obfuscation techniques, this ground-breaking tool is designed to help developers unmask hidden JavaScript malware by enabling two layers of AI-based deobfuscation for more readable, clarified code. This approach is so powerful that it works within seconds, helping developers to identify and eliminate malware much more easily. It pulls ahead of other deobfuscators thanks to its use of LLM algorithms with specialized deep-learning capabilities. They are trained on internal databases comprised of millions of known and predicted malware obfuscation techniques, which translates into much greater effectiveness.

- Ysrael is an ultra-orthodox entrepreneur who integrated into the secular high-tech field in Israel in an impressive way. He started his journey in the world of technology at a young age, learned to program at the age of 13, and was chosen by Google as one of the most prominent hackers in the world.

Despite his early success as a programmer, Israel encountered a significant challenge in combining his orthodoxy with the secular high-tech scene in Israel. The world of values and lifestyle is completely different. However, Ysrael did not let these challenges stop him. Together with Idan Cohen, he founded the company Reflectiz, which provides security solutions for third-party applications to companies around the world. Ysrael actively works to introduce ultra-Orthodox people into high-tech fields, and as proof of this, 30% of Reflectiz employees, mainly programmers, are ultra-Orthodox.
