Intelligent Waves’ innovative technology leadership has proactively helped elevate Government cyber resilience in the cybersecurity sector as it launched GRAYPATH and Phantom solutions.
GRAYPATH: GRAYPATH (GP) is the next generation of cybersecurity expeditionary communications. Through its patented IP Spread Spectrum technology, GP leverages the cloud to randomize and distribute message packets through the simultaneous use of multiple transport paths and encrypted channels. GP algorithms optimize throughput by continuously sensing and adjusting message flow according to channel availability and bandwidth capacity creating a smoother connection even for HD video transmissions.GP dramatically lowers the risk of detection and interception and is nearly impervious to disruption.
PHANTOM: Phantom Next Generation provides a cybersecurity ability for organizations to access foreign points of presence to conduct remote open-source information gathering and research while at the same time protecting organizations and individuals from exposure to foreign intelligence. Intelligent Waves has achieved this by combining the GRAYPATH software-defined obfuscated network with the managed attribution capability of the Phantom platform in a secure but unclassified package.

1. World-Class Technological Innovation: In 2021, IW introduced two disruptive cybersecurity innovations that garnered the attention of the special operations and IC defense secure communications community.
GRAYPATH (GP) is the next generation of cybersecurity expeditionary communications. It is a simple, asymmetric solution that ensures robust, reliable, secure, non-attributable global communication for special operations of the U.S. military.
Phantom is IW's award-winning cyber-defense solution for ultra-secure communication. Phantom Next-Generation allows the DoD’s cyber defense operations community to access foreign points of presence to conduct remote data gathering and research while at the same time protecting organizations and individuals from exposure to foreign intelligence.
It has a low probability of detecting, intercepting, and exploitation of application traffic, as well as obscuring a user's location.
2. IW Executive Leadership Support for Veterans: Tony Crescenzo, President and CEO of Intelligent Waves, a Marine, volunteers his time and efforts by actively serving as the NVTC Veterans Employment Initiative (VEI) Task Force Co-Chair and is in NVTC’s 2025 class of Board of Directors. He also serves on the Advisory Board of the Semper Fi Fund. Through Tony’s leadership, IW proactively supports the NVTC VEI, which connects veterans and military spouses to employment opportunities and provides support to member companies in their efforts to recruit, hire, train, and retain qualified veteran and military spouse employees.
3. IW supports the creation of High-Paying Tech job opportunities for veterans through its Admin to Engineer program (A2E), by empowering new employees with limited experience to become certified Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) Engineers in only 18 months. Each participant receives a customized growth plan to become a cleared integration engineer in one of our hard-to-fill positions.
