Thales Data Protection on Demand (DPoD) is a Cloud-based platform that provides a wide range of on demand security services through an online marketplace. Simply click to deploy the data protection you need – Luna Cloud HSM, CipherTrust Cloud Key Management and payShield Cloud Services. You can provision services, add security policies, and get usage reporting in minutes. DPoD is FIPS certified hardware-based HSM security with the ease of use of cloud services, making security simpler, more cost effective, and easier to manage because there is no hardware to buy, deploy, and maintain.

DPoD is designed for the Managed Security Service market and allows Managed Security Service Providers (MSSP) to provide unrivalled data protection as-a-service solutions to customers and grow revenue streams. MSPs can enhance their managed services with Data Protection on Demand. The solution, including a white-labelled version, with third-party API support, can be easily integrated into their existing own platform and bundled with existing services for enhanced value add, increased manageability, and workflow efficiency.

Modern ecosystems are often hybrid (on premises and cloud resources) and multi-cloud environments. DPoD customers can simply click to run the data protection services they need in minutes, while other solutions are much more complicated and time-consuming to implement. Physical hardware, software, and infrastructure is managed by Thales, including an SLA. DPoD is a fully hosted and managed service including backups and automatic failover, and enables seamless integration with Luna HSMs on-premises or hosted by leading cloud service providers.

DPoD is Cloud and infrastructure agnostic and enables multi-tier management, including complete separation of duties, even when managing multiple levels of child accounts (virtual service providers).
