NOMINATION HIGHLIGHTS
Wire is a secure collaboration platform featuring messaging, voice and video calling, file-sharing, and external collaboration all protected by the most advanced end-to-end encryption.
Wire’s goal is to combine end-to-end security that’s becoming the norm in the consumer space, with the workplace must-have features like multi-device support and a great group collaboration experience.
Built with end-to-end encryption at the heart of its platform, Wire’s software transcends collaboration and security, being the only software recognized across Forrester’s New Wave secure collaboration and Gartner’s Workstream Collaboration, and by IDC as the only vendor to offer public independent security audits for all of its solutions.
How we are different
– Wire uses the Proteus protocol for end-to-end encryption, Encrypting the smallest discrete payload of communication. Wire’s encryption works transparently in the background and doesn’t need to be activated — it’s always on.
– Forward secrecy with new encryption keys used for each and every message, drastically decreasing the impact any compromised key could have. Wire has no copy of keys — ZERO backdoors by design.
– Wire is already Quantum Resistant today, no other business collaboration application is ready for this. It places Wire’s technology leadership far ahead of the competition (see image attached).
